Barnes Gives Back Supports Operation Underground Railroad

October 2, 2022  Barnes Employment Group through its Barnes Gives Back program is joining Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) in its mission to rescue children from human trafficking and sexual exploitation across the globe. Barnes Gives Back is committed to supporting local efforts to end this life-altering violence against children and in every location that is susceptible.

“As a husband and father, the reality of human trafficking really hits home with me, says Todd Barnes, president, CEO and founder of Barnes Employment Group. “No woman or child should live in fear to even go out to shop, dine or just live their life with the fear of being lured into the grip of a human trafficking organization.  Unfortunately, it happens every day and as long as I’m able, I’ll do everything I can to fight it.  Children, especially, are incredibly vulnerable and absolutely must be protected at any cost.”

In addition to financial contributions on the corporate and individual levels, Barnes Gives Back’s future plans include regular donations, volunteering, and hosting events to raise awareness against human trafficking.

Barnes Employment Group recognizes the importance of the communities in which they do business and proudly invests in the betterment of those communities through financial donations, and community service.

Operation Underground Railroad offers freedom and healing to survivors of human trafficking and exploitation through direct intervention and aftercare.  Since 2013, O.U.R.’s Ops Team consisting of former CIA, past and current law enforcement, and highly skilled operatives lead coordinated identification and extraction efforts in conjunction with law enforcement throughout the world. Its mission is to shine a light worldwide on the global issue of child sex trafficking and exploitation, and in so doing rescue more children from slavery and assist law enforcement to seek justice for those who violate children. Survivors are placed on a path to recovery by partnering with vetted aftercare providers.
